Dr. Agnes Jani-Acsadi, née Jáni, 61, of Avon, wife of Dr. Gyula Acsadi, passed away May 9th, 2018 in Boston, MA. She fought with bravery and a bright smile throughout her illness. Born November 27, 1956, in Hungary, Agnes graduated from the University of Pécs Medical School, where she met her beloved husband. After arriving in the U.S., she conducted pioneering research in neuromuscular disease and practiced as neurologist first at WSU (MI) and later at UConn Health (CT). Agnes' healing passion in treating her patients and unconditional care for her family shone in all she accomplished. She is survived by her loving husband and children, son Daniel (wife Leticia); daughter Marta (husband Douglas); and daughter Nora; as well as her sister, Márta, and family in Hungary.
